2g Turn Faster Recipe
Stage 1

Ok this is all I've got for now.  Not much and a basic rip off of the Go Faster Pages I know.  I have included a quick list of all the mods I have so far for you to take a look at. 

• Road Race Engineering Strut Tower Bars (Front/Rear)
• Road Race engineering Lower Stress Bar (Front)
• RM Racing Front and Rear Sway Bars (80% stiffer in the rear / 40% stiffer in the front)
• Ground Control Coil Over Height Adjustable Spring kit (475/300) set for 1" drop
• Hypercoil 4"x2.5" keeper springs in the rear to prevent spring rattle at full extension
• Ground Control Upper Front Spring perches for 0.75" extra shock travel
• Tokico Illumina Shocks (3/2 street 5/5 track)
• DIY rear camber kit and Auto specialty front camber kit (from RRE) set to -1.5 degrees all around with 0 toe front and rear
• For Autox: 17x8 40mm offset Konig Villains (19lb each) wearing 245/45-17 Kumho V700 Victoracer DOT legal race tires.
• Rolled rear fender flanges to accommodate the race tires.
• AXXIS Metal Matrix brake pads on non-slotted, non-drilled rotors (soon to use Carbotech Panther pads)

So far these mods are working really well at the track.   There is no question in my mind that coupled with my power mods this car can be very competitive when driven by someone better than me :)  Fact is I barely have a full season of racing under my belt and only 1 event with the race tires.  I have another event today.  Then in November I go to the Big Track at Willow Springs.   So we shall see how this all holds up to some real hard-core roadracing.  I have a feeling I'm going to be very undersprung for this but we shall see.  But the point is considering my experience I'm doing remarkably well all be it at the local level.   I have been running CP class up till now.  Chances are given the well prepped CP cars out there I would still have been outclassed regardless of driver BUT I wouldn't say the car was non-competitive.  With the new STU class that has just been formed I have no doubt that a well driven car prepped as mine is could easily make a real name for themselves.
